Kristin Fischer will join CNN as its Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. As an official for the Space and Defense Department Kristin Fisher is a reporter covering everything including NASA to the newly created Space Force as well as commercial space businesses as well as space tourism. Kristin is mother of NASA astronauts as well as a space enthusiast, grew up immersed in the field. She spent five years as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy in the Biden and Trump administrations. She was awarded an Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as a CBS station's reporter who was a one-man band. Kristin started Field Mouse Films with her skills behind the camera back in the year 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in producing documentaries for corporate clients including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds earned a Bachelor in Science in Journalism which she earned from Boston University. Her current residence is Washington, D.C. with her husband and their three year old daughter.
